Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)
Class 3 digital signatures for filings and portals that require them.
Apply for a Class 3 DSCWhat is Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)?
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) links a digital signature to a verified subscriber. Class 3 certificates are issued by licensed Certifying Authorities after the applicant completes the required identity verification.
A DSC may be used on company, tax, government or tender portals where the relevant filing or signatory role requires it. Portal requirements and supported certificate types can differ.
Dattriox helps applicants prepare the application. The Certifying Authority verifies identity, manages certificate issuance and sets the applicable verification and token requirements.
When a DSC may be needed
- Some online filings and tender processes require an authorised person to sign documents using a valid DSC.
- The correct certificate and applicant depend on the portal, the filing and the person's role in the entity.
- The subscriber must protect the private key and any token PIN; a DSC does not replace entity registration or other approvals.
